Il Gold è praticamente morto da quando è nato il Pass, l'ultimo gioco "grosso" decente dato è stato Jurassic World Evolution. Figuriamoci diano giochi EA

Il fatto del gold anche per i free2play è una minchiata in effetti. Io non ne sento particolarmente l'esigenza ma effettivamente è una cosa che scoraggerebbe l'utenza più casual. Sarebbe ora che si adeguassero

Semplicemente io dubito che EA guadagni di più nel regalare definitivamente un gioco col plus, piuttosto che metterlo nel pass, chessò, 6 mesi. D'altronde non so bene i meccanismi del Pass, ma credo sempre e comunque che sia Ms a pagare per avere i giochi third nel pass, e no viceversa

Secondo me poi si svegliano e tolgono il gold obbligatorio sui free to play (oppure Sony lo mette a pagamento anche lì )

Ma EA e Activision sono particolarmente avide

Ad ogni modo, ho controllato e nel Novembre 2018 hanno dato Battlefield 1 col Gold , quindi mai dire mai

Direi che dare un gioco col Gold/Plus sia più costoso rispetto al Pass/Now; magari su Plus ci sono più potenziali compratori boh

Io non capisco perché non riescono a prendere accordi con EA e Activision. Non dico che tutti i loro giochi dovrebbero arrivare sul pass, ma qualcuno io lo gradirei...

Io posso solo provare a fare delle ipotesi, stando comodamente seduto salla mia poltrona dietro la scrivania. Quindi da prendere con le pinze e frutto della mia mente girovaga.

Esordisco dicendo che secondo me spesso quando si tratta di far entrare un gioco nel pass si lavora caso per caso (e non necessariamente con tutto il ventaglio di IP di un publisher). Per dire io mi immagino anche che qualche publisher (o perchè no anche sviluppatore medio/grosso) abbia approcciato Microsoft di propria spontanea volontà, o quasi o comunque con un forte interesse reciproco, per far approdare qualche gioco sul Pass sia per sperimentare effettivamente le conseguenze di questa pratica o magari provare a rivitalizzare un gioco dopo un calo di popolazione o prima del rilascio di un DLC così da "allargare le reti per fare abboccare pesci" oppure far salire l'hype prima di un seguito o magari di un titolo commercialmente verso la fine. Il tutto al di là di quella che poi è la remunerazione economica che Microsoft andrebbe poi ad elargire.

Ma tornando più direttamette a quello che ho quotato da @Auron307 e tagliato mi vien da dire che non ci si debba rimanere male per Battlefront 2 rilasciato sul plus, anzi bisogna solo essere contenti di ciò. EA in passato è stata più che generosa anche con i giochi dati via all'interno del programma Games with Gold, per cui non ci vedo niente di male. Una volta di qua e una volta di là, magari tra qualche mese lo daranno su Xbox.... (io sarò moderatamente contento perchè mi interessa relativamente, ma ci sarà comunque chi si lamenterà dicendo " eh ma su PS l'han già regalato mesi fa"). Non mi stupisce il fatto che i giochi di EA non arrivino sul Game Pass perchè c'è già l'EA Access (Origin Access per PC) e giustamente anche loro lo devono spingere un po' questo servizio e non è che possono dar via tutti i giochi dopo che già molti li hanno spinti aggressivamente semi-regalandoli (anche con le frequenti promozioni) a destra e a manca.

Al contrario Ubisoft mi è sembrata più "curiosa", passatemi il termine, per ricollegarmi al paragrafo precedente. Infatti anche loro hanno il loro servizio di abbonamento (anche se mi vien da dire non proprio conveniente ma è un mio parere) però, sempre ricollegandomi al paragrafo sopra, qualche gioco è stato incluso nel GamePass, seppur centellinato specialmente per quel che il conteggo totale dei giorni di disponibilità, ma sempre per spingere al momento giusto (come l'inserimento di The Division 1) Anche qui guardando al futuro però mi aspetto poco a livello di giochi inseriti nel Game Pass, ma magari una porticina aperta per qualcosina possiamo lasciarla aperta.

Infine, auto-smentendomi clamorosamente, concludo dicendo che secondo me alcune aziende proprio non ci vogliono entrare nel GamePass per motivi loro di politiche commerciali, o la qualunque. Per dire Activision non ce la vedo proprio all'interno di questi pass.... Piuttosto sfruttano qualche "free Weekend" (che mi pare abbiano abbondato su overwatch per fare un esempio) o addirittura prendono la palla al balzo e creano la versione gratuita (mi riferisco a Warzone). Sanno che i loro giochi vendono forte e scelgono determinate pratiche commerciali come appunto il non "svendere le loro ip" cercando di non includerle all'interno in servizi di abbonamento altrui o non far calare troppo col tempo il prezzo di certi giochi.

Poi magari un domani cambiano idea e magari si fanno il loro servizio o includono la qualunque dappertutto, però l'idea che mi sono fatto è che, anche storicamente, lì la pensano a questo modo.

Quindi boh, tutto questo pippone per dire che non mi ricordo più cosa volevo dire; forse che spesso non è solo una questione di soldi da sborsare per convincere a portare giochi nel GamePass.

Comunque se certi giochi di certi publisher non arrivano sul pass me l'aspetto, me ne faccio una ragione e bom.

Io posso solo dirti che in un paio d'anni circa nei games with gold EA ha dato i seguenti giochi (fermo restando che me ne sono sicuramente perso qualcuno:

Comunque su XBox l'hanno scontato fortemente più volte negli ultimi mesi. Ed è incluso nell' EA Access.

Ragazzi ho un ultimo dubbio sul Game Pass, curiosità perchè ormai ho fatto l'ultimate e sono felicissimo.

Se io ho un gioco scaricato o nella mia libreria e questo viene rimosso dal game pass, io potrò comunque scaricarlo/giocarlo oppure mi bloccherà l'accesso e dovrò eventualmente ricomprarlo?
