Console War Xbox Series X|S vs PlayStation 5

According to sources, we understand that currently Microsoft are planning a launch for Starfield on PlayStation 5 post the release of the already announced “Shattered Space” expansion for Xbox and PC, which is on target to arrive at some point later this year. We’ve also been informed that Microsoft have made additional investment into PlayStation 5 dev kits to support ongoing development efforts – adding further fuel to the fire.

According to our sources, Microsoft senior leadership have reportedly debated the various pros and cons of releasing more of their exclusive software elsewhere, and internally, not everyone is necessarily happy with the decision, but recouping the potential money “left on the table” by not releasing elsewhere has arguably won out.

According to sources, Hi-Fi Rush’s release on rival platforms is tentatively planned for Q1 this year, and we’ve been advised to expect Microsoft to make a more public announcement on this new strategy this month.

Boh, penso che con le ip ed il revenue che hanno possano tranquillamente permettersi di pubblicare su altre console E sviluppare una infrastruttura Cloud migliore di quel che è xcloud nel frattempo. Anche perché il futuro è quello lì, vicino o lontano che sia si arriverà alle "console" in Cloud e basta prima o poi.

Prendono soldi sia che compri i giochi da altre parti sia che ti fai il pass e giochi con il loro cloud, si tolgono dalle palle la competizione diretta con Sony/Nintendo e fanno felici gli azionisti.

Onestamente a me sembra la scelta più sensata, il brand Xbox è praticamente un cadavere che cammina al momento, fare l'ennesima gen in cui si prendono schiaffoni da chiunque mi sembra stupido. E per questa gen andrà sempre peggio, switch 2 sarà l'ennesimo bagno di sangue per Xbox.

Secondo me con il Cloud ad oggi hanno cannato un po' tutti tolto GFN, stadia aveva una buona infrastruttura ma un modello di vendita sbagliatissimo, xcloud ha un buon modello di vendita ma un'infrastruttura di merda(almeno fin quando l'ho provato io, quindi tempo fa)

Quello che sarà sul palco ad annunciarlo sarà quello che ha estratto la pagliuzza più corta
 
ma quindi il prossimo showcase cosa sarà, una roba alla Ubisoft, EA? cioè non ha più senso parlare di xbox.
 
Quindi pc e xbox hanno fatto da beta early access e ora arriva ottimizzato e pure con il dlc a 80 sacchi su ps5 e venderà :azz:
 
Boh spero solo che da gamsetop, in autunno, mi facciano una buona promo trade in per dargli dentro quel sottobicchiere di Serie X per farmi 5 Pro. :asd:

Microsoft has essentially decided they aren't going to make enough money with the current strategy. They want to build healthier margins and cash flow using Sony's install base, to then reinvest in growing the Xbox ecosystem using that money.

Minchia praticamente quello che veniva scritto mesi fa qui dentro e chi lo scriveva veniva beffeggiato a suon di “Microsoft domani chiude la divisione” e via a darsi pacche sulle spalle :sard:

Ah, e dicevo anche ai blu che il direct del 18 gennaio era un SOP 3rd party da seguire :ahsisi:. Oh però mo compratelo Hi-Fi Rush almeno.
