a me la notifica esce sia quando parte l'aggiornamento sia quando finisce mentre se carico un video o una foto su Twitter non esce nessuna notifica

Si avviano da soli ma ti esce la notifica solo quando vengono installati...bella cazzata..

A me no, la notifica appare ogni volta che mette in download una qualsiasi patch di gioco o aggiornamento di programma.

Inoltre da quanto ho potuto constatare fa il check degli aggiornamente la prima volta di ogni giorno nuovo, ovvero se la console è accesa la sera a mezzanotte cercherà e tenterà di installare gli aggiornamenti, se si blocca quel tentativo non ci riproverà fino al giorno dopo (o almeno così fa a me).

Ne farei volentieri a meno, btw, vorrei poter mettere la spunta sull'opzione "non azzardarti mai a scaricare o ad installare NIENTE, se voglio una patch me la cerco da solo" .

Pure a me ha fatto così , mi sono accorto tramite notifica della nuova patch di dark souls 3 ad installazione avvenuta.

No, pure a me non è apparsa la notifica della patch di battlefield ed io accendo prima la tv e poi la play.

Inizialmente pensavo di non averla vista io, ma vedo che non sono l'unico

allora ieri sera ho acceso la ps4 pro, sono stato lì a vedere una cosa e poi mi sono ricordato che era uscita la patch di ds3. Sono andato a notifiche e download e non c'era nulla a scaricare. Sono andato sull'icona di DS3 ho cliccato verifica aggiornamento, ha trovato l'aggiornamento e l'ha messo a scaricare.

Oggi pomeriggio ho messo ad installare mass effect andromeda e appena ho messo il disco mi è uscita la notifica dell'aggiornamento disponibile in automatico.

Questo mi lascia pensare che o

A. ogni tot intervallo di tempo la console controlla da sola se ci sono aggiornamenti disponibili, li scarica in automatico e li notifica solo a fine aggiormaneto

B. la console scarica gli aggiornamenti in automatico solo una volta che metti il disco del gioco

sono propenso all'opzione A perchè l'ultima patch di horizon me l'ha scaricata in automatico, con l'unica notifica uscita solo a fine aggiornamento

cmq sia sempre meglio di quel pacco della one che ho scoperto che se stai scaricando un gioco (ma a questo punto penso anche un aggiornamento) non ti fà partire l'installazione del disco :morristend:

Come detto qualche post sopra ho una teoria simile, ovvero che la console faccia il controllo degli aggiornamenti la prima volta che è online ogni giorno, infatti mi è capitato appena accesa (prima volta della giornata nel pomeriggio) e quando già era accesa da un po' (poco dopo la mezzanotte, bloccato quel download non lo ha richiesto per tutte le successive 24 ore).

Se questa teoria si rivelasse confermata da ripetute evidenze sperimentali basterebbe fare attenzione al primo avvio giornaliero (e ricordarsi che a mezzanotte scatta l'allarme ).

We’re getting ready for the next major system update for PS4, and can use some help from PS4 owners to test it out ahead of launch. Starting today, you can sign up for a chance to be a beta tester and get an advance look at some of the improvements and new features coming to PS4.
You can register to be a beta tester anytime between today and the start of the beta in early August. Users must be 18 years or older. Once the beta starts, we’ll close registration.

Beta testers for our previous major system software update, version 4.50, got an early peek at features like external HDD support, custom wallpapers, Quick Menu refresh, and much more before launch.

If you’re part of the program, you’ll receive an email with instructions on downloading the beta version of the next system software. In order to sign up, you’ll need a PS4 with an internet connection, and access to a Master Account. And remember — you can roll back to the previous system software at any time.

We’ll be back soon with an update on the features you can expect in the beta.

PlayStation 4's upcoming firmware update 5.0 will allow PS4 Pro owners to stream via Twitch at 1080p and 60fps.

Other top-line changes include an overhaul of your console's master/sub account system, the ability to follow any user, and the addition of notifications to the PS4's quick menu.

Next, update 5.0 will give an expanded range of options for those who have "sub" or child accounts on their home console.
New family accounts will be able to feature multiple adult accounts in a family, able to act in a parent/guardian role and set parental controls on a per-account basis, so each child has different communications, content-viewing and spending limit privileges. Requests can also be sent to adult accounts on other PS4s to join the same family.

Lastly, with 5.0, system notifications will be visible from your Quick Menu so you don't need to head back to your Home screen. You will also be able to check the status of your uploads/downloads here too.
More minor changes include push notifications for events, spectator comments on screen while broadcasting in VR mode, the ability to link broadcasts to a PlayStation Community, and support for seven more languages: Czech, Thai, Greek, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Romanian and Hungarian.

Behind the scenes, Sony will add support for bundle and compilation discs, with or without add-ons, and discs which support games and add-ons (such as in a Game of the Year Edition) which don't need developers to rework any code.

PS4’s System Software 5.00 Beta Rolls Out Today, Key Features Detailed

Family on PSNWe’re overhauling the current master/sub-account system, and introducing the new “Family on PlayStation Network.” This new system will offer a more flexible experience for families on PS4 by making it easier to setup PSN accounts for children and customize parental control settings. Below are the new features that will be introduced with family on PSN:

Family Manager, Parent/Guardian

Family on PSN will allow multiple adults to be part of a single family. The Family Manager can promote another adult inside the family to a Parent/Guardian, who can then customize parental control levels of children’s accounts.

Individualized Parental Controls

Before this update, the same parental controls were applied to all users on the same console, including adults. But with 5.00, all controls (including game age ratings) can be individually attuned for each child.

Friend List Management

In place of the current ‘Favorite Groups’ tab, we’re adding a new ‘Custom Lists’ tab within Friends, which allows you to create and edit custom lists of your friends. This makes it easier for you to manage your friends and access specific groups. For example, you can create a custom list of your Destiny teammates and easily send them raid invites.

Broadcast feature updates

Communities

If you own a community, you can now bind your community to your broadcast. When a broadcast is linked to a community, the community button appears on the Live from PlayStation spectator screen. Once a spectator clicks on the community button, they’ll be able to jump directly to your community page to check out the details.

PlayStation VR

We’ve added a new setting in PlayStation VR: Display Message to Spectators and Spectators’ Comments. Once this is enabled, spectator comments sent during a broadcast is displayed not only in cinematic mode, but also in VR mode. This makes it much easier for VR broadcasters to keep up on comments and communicate with their viewers.

PlayStation 4 Pro

Good news Twitch users: with this update, PS4 Pro will support 1080p 60fps streaming on Twitch.

Messages Improvements

You’ve already been able to share your favorite music to Twitter and Facebook via PlayStation Music, but now you’ll also be able to share via messages using your PS4. If your friends are on PS4, they can listen to the track right inside the message by booting up Quick Menu, and if they’re on their mobile device, they can jump directly to the Spotify app from the PS Messages app to check out the song.

In addition, if you’re part of multiple message groups, you can now easily leave several groups at once. Just open up Options in the message list, select Leave, and choose the message groups you want to leave.

Notifications Updates

We’ve added a new setting that allows you to disable pop-up notifications while you’re watching a movie or TV show on your PS4. This setting is off by default, so go to Settings > Notifications to disable notifications and go uninterrupted during your videos.

Furthermore, you now have the option to turn off message previews on your pop-up notifications. If you turn this setting off, the pop-up notification will hide the message senders’ online ID and will display a generic user icon and message instead.

Lastly, you’ll have the option to change the color of your pop-up notifications to either white (default) or black.

Quick Menu Updates

If you want to keep an eye out on what’s happening under Notifications, like the progress of your game downloads/installations or new party invites, you can now access this directly from the Quick Menu so you don’t have to step away from your game every time you want to check your notifications.

Also, we’ve added a ‘Leave Party’ option in the Quick Menu, so you can easily exit a party and go right back to playing your game.

In addition, now you’ll see the system clock in the upper-right corner of the screen when you pop open the Quick Menu.

Virtual Surround Sound on PS VR

PlayStation VR now supports 5.1ch and 7.1ch virtual surround sound on your headphones when watching Blu-rays and DVDs in Cinematic Mode, making for an even more immersive viewing experience

Improved Tournaments Bracket Viewer

We have a new bracket viewer that shows full tournament brackets for Single Elimination and Double Elimination tournaments on PS4. This makes it easier for you to see the current tournament standings.

Ottimo anche il setting per disattivare le notifiche in auto durante i video. Come update é molto più utile di quanto sembrasse.

The beta for the PlayStation 4 system’s next major system software update 5.00 (codenamed NOBUNAGA) rolls out today for those of you that were selected for the beta program. If you signed up and were chosen, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to download and get started.

Whether you’re in the beta program or not, we wanted to give a first look at the features included in this update. We’re introducing family on PSN, making it easier to manage your friends, and adding a variety of new features for Broadcast, Notifications, Messages, and much more.

Family on PSN

ma è un problema solo mio o è un bug del firmware il fatto che i download per gli aggiornamenti dei giochi non si avviano in automatico al momento dell'accensione della console?

A me partono in automatico pure se ho disattivato l'opzione Son costretto ogni volta ad interrompere il download degli aggiornamenti di certi giochi.

Mah, ottimo...si tratta semplicemente di cambaire colore alle notifiche, una personalizzazione...ci son voluti 4 anni per mettere stà cosa banale? Pure un cellulare del 98 ha più personalizzazione e senza aggiornamenti. Per me potevano pure pensarci prima a stè cose.
