In "Part I: The Darkness Inside - Chapter Seven: The Million Dollar Question" & "Part III: Waking Up from the American Dream - Chapter Seven: Love Hurts", the player can interact with the pianos to play part of the games theme music.

Quando si dice "High standard" :coosaa:

Ueda and producer Kenji Kaido held their team to a high standard throughout production. An admitted perfectionist, Ueda felt that only one or two out of 500 artists who applied to work on Shadow of the Colossus met his criteria, and often demanded thorough changes in design until it matched his vision

Messaggi nascosti:

Gex

Lead Designer Justin Knorr, frustrated with all the cuts being made to get the game to ship, put a series of hidden messages for players to find. The first messages told the player how to access a secret level select screen, and encouraged them to pick a specific level, in which he placed more messages berating the company for cutting so much content. He included the head of product development's phone number, and suggested players call it and complain. The playtesters found these messages, and Justin was fired.

Jak 3

After defeating the game's final boss, by using debug controls and using the free camera mode during the game's cutscene, you can actually see Jak & Ashelin Praxis kissing onscreen, rather than cutting to Daxter. Often these scenes would not be fully animated, but the character expressions change where they would usually not be seen.

Un nome non casuale :marmotta:

Mathis Cronqvist is most likely named after Matthias Corvinus, the Hungarian king who was a tentative ally of Vlad Tepes', and once had him imprisoned in a royal tower.

I Nazisti sono armati con Sten MK II, che però erano in dotazione agli alleati, in realtà però i tedeschi produssero una copia della suddetta arma

Tiny Toon Adventures

As discovered on the French blog UPSILANDRE RETROGAMING, the movement code for the NES version of Tiny Toon Adventures by Konami was directly plagiarized from Super Mario Bros. 3, giving the two games near-identical play-feels.

Scrapped super extra :gogogo:

In Midnight Mountain is a platform with some extra lives on it in the distance, inaccessible unless either a cheat device or well timed proxy jump is used. The area was originally planned to be the Super Bonus World portal, with a huge whirlwind that would guide you across.

Gamera:

The Last Story

During Season 3 of the Arena sidequest, the final boss is a giant Muruk that flies into the arena while spinning very fast with flames shooting out of its shell. This is most likely a reference to Gamera, from the films of the same name, who is a giant monster turtle that flies in a similar fashion.

è un bug che io stesso ho sperimentato... :sadfrog:

Having a SoulCalibur III save file on your PS2 memory card can actually have devastating results if you move, modify, or delete anything on your PS2 memory card. These include: • Chronicles of the Sword side-quest becoming corrupted. • Your entire SoulCalibur III save file becoming corrupted. • All data on your memory card becoming corrupted.

Errore di Continuity :yeahmini:

In The Introduction, a twenty minute video that was available with the North American PS2 Special Edition of GTA San Andreas or the official soundtrack double CD, the appearance of Sex Club Seven in the Liberty City scene is a canonical error. Before 1998, it was called Paulie's Revue Bar. This happened because Rockstar wrote GTA Liberty City Stories after GTA San Andreas.

In the PSP release, unused 3D models for the summons Pandemona, Phoenix and Typhon can be found within the game's data.

Bahamut o Yoshi?

Super Mario RPG

In the English version of the game, "Bahamutt" is a reference to the summonable dragon Bahamut from Square Enix's Final Fantasy series.
In the Japanese version, he is called "ドッシー" ("Dosshī"), possibly as a pun of Yoshi.

First of his Kind :phraengo:

if... is the first game in the entire Megami Tensei franchise to feature a protagonist whose gender can be chosen by the player as well as the first game to feature a canonical female protagonist.

Unused track :ayaya:

MQDRSmi.jpg

There are two music tracks that went unused in the game. The first is the battle theme of Zazan the Murgg King from Alundra (another song from Alundra is actually used here; specifically, the song that is played whenever the residents of Inoa Village mourn someone who recently died is used as Cara's theme song); while the second is the normal battle theme from Wild ARMs.

Il nemico invisibile:

Double Dragon

There is a glitch in the NES version that can cause an "invisible man" to appear in Mission 2. Abusing this glitch can allow the player to obtain full hearts, as it's possible to beat the "invisible man" as much as the player desires without getting hit back.

In later versions of Shin Megami Tensei, it is mentioned that Pascal was a gift from a Mr. Nakajima for the protagonist's family.

Il lato oscuro di Mario:

Donkey Kong Jr.

This game marks Mario's only appearance as the bad guy in a Nintendo game. Shigeru Miyamoto did this to show shades of grey in Mario and Donkey Kong, and also that not everything is as it seems.
