  • Some small snippets from the live stream.
  • 3 Planet types - Ice, Rock and Metallic.
  • Some planets will change from their current variant, due to more data added to the procedural generation.
  • 4-6 tons carrying capacity on the initial Scarab SRV. More SRV's to be added with different attributes and specific roles.
  • Ground and Air teams working together to assault bases, ships may be required to destroy the shield generator. Then the SRV's can go in and destroy defences etc.
  • Different SRV handling depending on planet type.
  • Your ship will take off and fly around in orbit when you drive the buggy far enough away from your ship. AI controlled (for now). Apparently getting back to your ship will be 'interesting'.
  • More to update if I hear more from the stream.

The loyalty discount will run for the next 'few' months, we dont have a definitive end date to provide to you. This should extend at a minimum up to the Elite Dangerous: Horizons launch in Holiday 2015.

It states that the Cobra Mark IV is exclusive, we've had no confirmation at this point that it will be available after the promotion ends. We'll let the community know if this changes.

Mi sembra di aver letto su Reddit un commento del supporto Frontier che diceva che ci sarà la possibilità di generare una key steam anche per Horizon. Vedo se riesco a ritrovare la discussione.

If you currently own the Steam version of Elite Dangerous, Elite Dangerous: Horizons will work on Steam even when purchased through the Frontier store.

Much like before, If you buy Elite Dangerous: Horizons from the Frontier store you will have the option to generate a Steam code when it arrives on that platform.
