E' stato appena annunciato che Final Fantasy IV e Final Fantasy IV: The After Years arriveranno su Psp in un unico UMD. Square Enix sta anche lavorando alla realizzazione di un nuovo capitolo inedito che colleghi i due giochi. Sqex si occuperò anche di riaggiornare il comparto grafico dei due titoli.
