There are two different ways to play God of War on PS5. On the one hand, we can download the game with the latest version and we will have an experience similar to PS4 Pro, where the only remarkable thing that differentiates it is that its 1080p mode maintains 60fps (on PS4 Pro it runs at an average of 40fps).
The other option is, having the physical game, install it without updating. We will have a stable 4K / 60fps version as there is no patch limiting framerate or resolution here.
I've been playing it for the past hours and while the QOL stuff is really missed (like adjusting the motion-blur), the game is still extremely solid and basically like a remaster. And you have have to remember it's the version people without access to the internet have been playing since it launched lol
The only problem is that if you load your most recent saved games, the game is likely to crash.
It seems that it has a few problems with the drawing distance in some details, being lower than in PS4 Pro.
In any case, if you have the game in physical format, feel free to play it in version 1.00 for the best experience (until a patch comes out that allows us to play at this quality in the latest version).
