Bungie's propaganda for achieving world domination comes one step closer with the next iteration of Halo, titled Reach the game not only rewinds the clock to focus on events that crafted the existence of the Spartan program and its subsequent utilization in the war against the Covenant, but also looks to fulfill the promise of delivering a brand new graphical engine that pushes the visual aura of the game to suit the current generation.
A few
job sightings reveal that Bungie is indeed building up a force that works to code and implement a new experience in the Halo universe. The role of the senior artist/3D Hard Surface Artist shall be working on “ to develop a visually-inspired AAA title,” the Senior Engine Programmer will “ build an Engine to both create great games and also power the biggest slingshot in human history.”
The last Halo game was no where close to such pompous claims made by the company, yet it did offer players a hefty playing field to engage in combat which is a whole lot of fun to tinker around with.
