And what about PS3? Why isn't Sony's console, with a typically more open online service, being considered for Kingdom Under Fire II? Youn-Lee and Sejung Kim wouldn't say, but an extra console version would go some way to explaining the elongated development.

Si, ma è un'ipotesi di chi fa la domanda, non degli sviluppatori.

Speriamo, perchè KUF II mi attira un casino se fanno una componente single-player come *** comanda. :acid:

Tecnicamente il titolo sembra essere validissimo.

Non si nota un minimo di rallentamento nonostante la mole di roba a schermo :Morris82:

Credo che quella mostrata fino a d ora sia la versione pc,dubito che quella console riesca a reggere tutto quel ben di ***

 
Confermato su PS3, arriverà nel 2012 con contenuti esclusivi rispetto la versione Xbox 360 e PC, previste invece per il 2011.

 Various PS3™-only extras, such as exclusive content and unique services, will be available.

BLUESIDE™ announced today that their MMO Action Strategy RPG title, Kingdom Under Fire™ II(KUFII), will be released on the PS3™ along with its PC online counterpart.

The news was announced collaboratively by BLUESIDE and Sony Computer Entertainment Korea on the opening day (November 18th) of G-Star, which is one of the biggest online game trade shows in the world.

Kingdom Under Fire II is the fifth installment of the Kingdom Under Fire franchise, whose legacy spans more than a decade, and is currently being developed by BLUESIDE. The game provides elements that are not often seen in online games such as massive, realistic medieval battles. With a control scheme that is much more user-friendly than its predecessors, more intense action, and a character growth system which offers the player various ways to level up his or her heroes and troops, it is one of the most anticipated titles of 2011.

Kawauchi Shiro, the president of Sony Computer Entertainment Korea, said “The reason why the PS3™ is expanding worldwide at such a fast pace is not only because of its unanimously agreed advanced performance, but also its lineup of outstanding games.” He continued by saying “We are now in a cycle of continuously introducing outstanding titles one after another and it will expand the scope of the console. We will continuously look for ways to collaborate with developers as talented as BLUESIDE, and provide the PS3™ users with a unique experience that can only be found on PS3™.”

BLUESIDE revealed that even in the early stages of development on KUFII, a PS3™ version was already being considered for release a few months after the PC game. BLUESIDE’s in-house engine will be tailored to fully utilize the PS3™ platform, which will provide the player with very simple intuitive control, and realistic visuals that make users feel like watching a blockbuster movie.

There will also be exclusive content for PS3™ users such as characters and missions. Additionally, the game will provide various services that will take advantage of the interactive features of the PlayStation®Network, which has more than 60 million registered users.

The CEO of BLUESIDE, Se-Jung Kim, said “PS3™’s performance and network features offer us many possibilities considering the aspects of MMORPG that requires continuous updates, and that is the main reason why we decided to make the PS3™ version. I believe releasing the title for the console will enable us to reach out to a broader audience not only in Korea, but all over the world.”

Kingdom Under Fire II will be released for the PS3™ in 2012.

EDIT2: volveo aggiungere che la ver. PS3 non sarà un seplice porting dell ' engine PC, ma avrà un kit tutto suo e fatto su misura! Specifica appunto che gli sviluppatori avevano pensato a questo fin dall' inzio del suo sviluppo.

Spero che le succose aggiunte vengano annunciate in tempo per decidere se buttarsi sulla versione che esce prima o pazientare per quella con gli extra.

Il gioco nn sarà un mero porting ma avrà un suo engine su ps3 con più un fottio di extra...in sostanza pare che questa versione sia quella di riferimenti:morris82:.

The press release made no mention of the xbox 360 version - only the pc game. When pressed about what this meant, blueside told ********* this morning that, "we're still under discussion with microsoft, and nothing has been confirmed."

La versione Ps3 avrà un engine tutto suo quindi niente porting //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/sisi.gif

Comunque "al momento" la versione 360 non è confermata al 100%,come riporta la notizia sopra di Pliskin sono in fase di trattativa con M$ //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/sisi.gif
