The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has the first official preview of Square Enix and Tokyo RPG Factory’s newly announced action RPG Oninaki.
Chrono Trigger and Live A Live director and scenario writer Takashi Tokita is working on the game as its creative producer.
The scenario is being handled by Hirotaka Inaba, who also did the scenarios for Tokyo RPG Factory’s previous titles I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphere. It will apparently be an “intensely shocking title.”
The logo was illustrated by Tomonori Kogawa. Tokyo RPG Factory’s Atsushi Hashimoto is the director, and Ryutaro Sasaki is the producer.
Oninaki is due out for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC this summer. Development is currently 65 percent complete.
