Overlord TV Anime's 2nd Season Premieres in January 2018

The official Twitter account of the Animate store in Machida in Tokyo posted an image on Friday featuring the cover of the upcoming 12th volume of Kugane Maruyama's Overlord novel series (cover pictured at right). The wraparound jacket band on the volume reveals that the anime adaptation's previously announced second season will premiere in January 2018. The jacket band also reveals that Madhouse will return to animate the series. The novel volume officially ships on Saturday.

Naoyuki Itou is returning as director, along with Yukie Sugawara on series composition. Satoshi Tasaki (Rideback, Fairy Musketeers, No Game, No Life Zero) is joining previous character designer Takahiro Yoshimatsu on character designs. Madhouse returns to animate series.
The series will premiere in January 2018.

io ancora devo guardarla, ho giusto letto un po' il manga, ma ho tempo per recuperare :morris82:

In realtà l'ultimo episodio finiva con una sorta di cliffhanger, o meglio con i primissimi cenni al nuovo arco narrativo, mi riferivo più che altro a quello. Forse mi basta rivedere solo l'ultimo episodio :asd:

 
Overlord II Anime's New Videos Reveal More of Cast, January 9 Debut

The official website for the television anime of Kugane Maruyama's Overlord novel series posted the third promotional video and a 30-second commercial for the second season, Overlord II, on Monday. The videos reveal additional cast members and the January 9 premiere for the anime. The website also announced that the short anime spinoff Ple Ple Pleiades will return on January 9 as well under the title Ple Ple Pleiades 2.

The newly announced cast members are:

Hiroki Touchi as Zaryusu

Naomi Kusumi as Shasryu

Sora Amamiya as Crusch

Kouji Ishii as Zenberu

Kiyono Yasuno as Renner

Ryota Ohsaka as Climb

The series will premiere on the AT-X channel on January 9 at 10:30 p.m., and then it will run on Tokyo MX, MBS, TV Aichi, and BS11. It will also stream on the Hikari TV and AbemaTV services. The radio program for Overlord II will begin streaming on December 26. The original novel series itself now has over 4.8 million copies in circulation.

OxT and MYTH&ROID return to perform the second season's opening theme song "Go Cry Go" and ending theme song "Hydra," respectively. Below is the short version of the music video for "Go Cry Go":
