Io vorrei capire una cosa: se inizio una partita senza importare il mio save di TW1, alla fine dei conti cosa cambia? Non mi pare che incontri tutti quei gran personaggi con cui interagisci o vedi cosa hanno portato le tue azioni... Sbaglio?
Cose minori, tipo l'equipaggiamento iniziale e l'incontro con Siegfried (io
nel primo l'ho ucciso e nel secondo giustamente non l'ho incontrato).
Ho trovato queso articolo che spiega le piccole differenze che ci sono in base ad alcune scelte fatte nel primo Witcher:
When starting a new game of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, you can import a saved game from The Witcher by selecting "New Game" then "Import Witcher 1 Save" from the main menu. In order to be used, the saved game files should be in their original location (most likely C:\Users\[username]\Documents\The Witcher\saves) and have been created during the Ice Plains or Order of the Flaming Rose Cloister portions of the Epilogue. Several choices, items and some money is transferred to the sequel and is accessible at the start of the game.
Some of these items include:
* steel swords
o Ard'aenye
o D'yaebl
o G'valchir
o Gwalhir
* silver swords
o Aerondight
o Moon Blade
* other items
o Raven's armor
o A small percentage of your orens (about 1% of your saved game from the original game added to the standard ~ 150 orens of a fresh game).
Some of the choices (spoilers for Witcher 1 ahead):
* Chapter 1
* Chapter 2
* Chapter 3
o kill or save Thaler during All the King's Men (you will receive a message and a package from Thaler in Flotsam if you saved Thaler – this is default game behaviour)
* Chapter 4
* Chapter 5
o kill or save Princess Adda during Her Highness the Striga (her fate is mentioned by Foltest during the Prologue and later by other characters, as well as in a journal entry, and it may have a minor impact on the status of Temeria at the end of the game)
o kill or spare Siegfried (Neutral/Scoiatel paths only: Geralt is either attacked by the fellow knight or left alone by the order)
* Epilogue(final path):
o Order path:
+ Fewer issues with the Order in the third chapter.
+ Geralt may meet Siegfried and Polycarp.
o Neutral/Witcher path:
+ Iorveth's path: you cannot get through the front door in Loc Muinne.
+ Roche's path: you have to kill an angry knight in the second chapter.
o Scoia'tael path:
+ some dialogues changes with Iorveth.
+ In Vergen Geralt meets Igor Vivaldi (who works for Vivaldi's bank in Vizima) who gives him "unlimited credit" - which in reality means about 300 orens, all he has on him. (this is default game behaviour)

Ma scusate, io ho messo in dowload laenanched ed direttamente dal sito ufficiale visto che ho una copia retail del gioco, ma mi sta scaricando 10 GB di roba, ma non è una patch è il gioco intero!

Davvero? Io avevo capito che lo incontrassi sempre e comunque, e infatti mi pareva strano che non fossero riusciti ad implementare neppure una quisquilia simile //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/emoticons_dent1005.gif
Non credo, la "patch" per la EE pesa proprio 10/11 GB.
Dovrebbero essere 35 pacchetti in formato .bin, più eventuali altri per l'audio in varie lingue.

Ok, scaricata e provato ad installarla. Dico provato perchè durante l'installazione mi dice errore, precisamente mi dice che c'è un file corrotto. Adesso non mi parte nemmeno TW2 senza patch. Consigli?

Provato ieri e avendo integrato lo steam cloud, mi ha caricato tt sui server valve, cambiando tt le date dei salvataggi, incasinandoli all'inverosimile!
Sono dovuto ripartire da un save + vecchio perchè l'ultimo non l'ho trovato -.-"
PS non c'è un modo x far salvare i quicksave uno sopra l'altro e non un'infinità uno dietro l'altro?
