Hi everyone! This is Kai from Finnish game developer Frozenbyte. We’re the studio behind the Shadowgrounds and Trine franchises. Last week rumours started circling that we would be working on a port of Trine 2 for the PlayStation 4. Well, we’re happy to tell you that the rumours are indeed true! Trine 2: Complete Story is headed for the PlayStation 4!

Trine 2: Complete Story is a sidescrolling game filled with action, puzzles, and platforming. You play as the Thief, the Wizard and the Knight, known as the Three Heroes, who make their way through dangers untold in a fantastical fairytale world.
We’re self publishing Trine 2: Complete Story on PS4, and it’s the very latest version of the game, including a total of 20 exciting levels full of adventure (that’s the main campaign, plus the expansion Goblin Menace and the secret level Dwarven Caverns).

PlayStation 4 has allowed us to go all-out on the technical side, so you’ll get to enjoy the beautiful graphics in 1080p resolution at 60 FPS! What’s more, the game also supports stereoscopic 3D! With 3D displays becoming more common every day, we’ve made sure Trine 2: Complete Story is a treat to play in 3D as well.

Trine 2: Complete Story edition has launched on PS4 courtesy of developer Frozenbyte. You can also get 20% off if you’re a PS Plus subscriber.

 

 


The game’s release was announced on PS Blog EU. It supports three-player co-op, has 50 unlockable trophies and runs in full HD 1080p resolution with 60 frames per second.

 


It costs £14.49/€16.95, or £11.59/€13.56 if you’re a PS Plus member. There’s also a free trial.

Io l'ho già giocato su wiiU ma ne sono talmente innamorato che lo ricomprerei anche su ps4...tecnicamente è migliorato sensibilmente o è solo a 1080?

 
Qualcuno mi sa dare qualche motivazione sul perché ne è rimasto deluso? Momentaneamente non lo scarico,però vorrei sapere un po' i pro ed i contro.

io ho trovato i comandi orribili e scomodi, in secondo luogo non amo i giochi platform per cui...

 
Scaricato, credo di iniziarlo dopo watch dogs. L'ho giocato già un paio di anni fa credo, quando uscì. Pochi ricordi ma le sensazioni positive le ha lasciate. Le espasioni che aggiungono?

Ce ne sono varie? Io ho giocato solo ad una, che aggiunge un nuovo arco narrativo incentrato sui goblin comprendente varie nuove missioni (non mi ricordo quante, mi pare almeno 6 o 7).
