The Xbox 360 version of the highly praised, physics-based platformer, Trine, probably won’t be seeing the light of day. The news comes straight from developer, Frozenbyte’s official forums.

Trine was well-received by critics when it was released for PC and PS3, who praised its inventive mix of puzzles, platforming and action. The 360 version was expected to be available for download sometime last year, but news of it’s development gradually became non-existent.
I’ll have to admit I am slightly saddened by this news, as I was holding out for the XBLA version of Trine. I guess it gives me a reason to finally upgrade my PC and download a copy from Steam. Every cloud, huh?
Were you waiting for the Xbox 360 version of Trine? Or have you already played it on PC or PS3? If so, what did you think?
