Ho visto i film Lupin III - La lapide di Jigen Daisuke, Lupin the IIIrd - Ishikawa Goemon getto di sangue e Lupin the IIIrd - La bugia di Mine Fujiko. Non si tratta di niente di eccezionale, ma ogni tanto fa bene rivedere Lupin, soprattutto se ci aggiungiamo la novità dello stile grafico. L'ordine di uscita in questo caso rappresenta anche il mio ordine di preferenza.

A me sono piaciuti abbastanza, interessante anche lo stile grafico. E a tal proposito, ma come esempio negativo, come non menzionare il film in 3d su Prime? Non sono riuscito ad andare oltre i 20 minuti. Mi dispiace ma non riesco proprio a digerire la grafica 3d su Lupin...

E per chiudere la carrellata ho rivisto (non ricordavo quasi niente) il cosiddetto Codice Tarantola (Walther P38). Promosso anche questo, alcuni sviluppi prevedibili e qualche parte affrettata ma sempre godibile.

Lupin III Gets Isekai Manga Spinoff on August 26

This year's ninth issue of Akita Shoten's Young Champion Retsu magazine revealed on Tuesday that the Lupin III franchise will have a new manga spinoff titled Lupin III: Neighbor World Princess that will launch in this year's 39th issue of Akita Shoten's Weekly Young Champion magazine on August 26. Yōsuke Saeki is writing the manga, and Keyaki Uchi-Uchi is drawing the manga. The magazine hints that the manga will have an isekai summoning story.

Keyaki Uchi-Uchi is also in charge of the composition for Shō Uyoshi's manga adaptation of Kaoru Shinozaki and KWKM's Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells (Hazure Waku no "Jōtai Ijō Skill" de Saikyō ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Jūrin Suru made) light novel series. Uchi-uchi and Uyoshi launched the manga in Overlap's Comic Gardo website in July 2019, and Overlap published the manga's fourth volume on June 25. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing both the original light novels and the manga adaptation, and it released the second volume of the manga on August 10.
 
Lupin III Part 6 Anime Teases Sherlock Holmes Plot, Writer Mamoru Oshii, October 9 Debut

The official Twitter account for the Lupin the 3rd anime franchise revealed more story details, more staff, a new key visual by character designer Hirotaka Marufuji, and the October 9 premiere for the Lupin the 3rd Part 6 television anime series on Wednesday.

The guest writers include director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer, Vladlove), veteran scriptwriter Masaki Tsuji (Astro Boy, Kyojin no Hoshi, Umi no Triton), popular mystery novelist Taku Ashibe (Murder in the Red Chamber), adventure and science-fiction novelist Akio Higuchi (Zone), and mystery and suspense novelist Kanae Minato (Confession). Yumi Matsumiya, Kōichirō Bizen, Hiromasa Ogura, Wataru Nishizawa, Beom Seon Lee, and Yūsuke Takeda are directing the art, and Hiromi Miyawaki is the color key artist. Akemi Sasaki is the compositing director of photography, and Masato Yoshitake is editing. Youji Shimizu is directing the sound, and Hiromune Kurahashi is handling the sound effects.

The new series will center around two keywords, with "mystery" being the keyword of the "first cours" (quarter of a year). The thief Lupin is after a treasure hidden by The Raven, a mysterious organization that manipulates the British government in the shadows. However, the detective Sherlock Holmes appears before Lupin.

Oshii was once involved in the development of a Lupin the 3rd film project that never saw the light of day, and Tsuji and Higuchi have penned Lupin the 3rd novels. Oshii said that he never dreamed that he would get another chance at Lupin, and that series script supervisor Takahiro Ōkura told him, "Please write whatever you like." He is grateful that the production team will use his script.

Ōkura said that when he was asked to incorporate mystery into Lupin the 3rd, the name Sherlock Holmes came to mind. Okura added that Holmes is the only one who can go head-to-head with the Lupin family, who have confounded police in countries all over the world.

The series will premiere on the NTV channel in Japan on October 9 at 24:55 (effectively, October 10 at 12:55 a.m.), and it will also run on NTV's affiliates as well as on Hulu and other streaming services in Japan. Sentai Filmworks licensed the new series for home video and streaming in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavian countries, and all Nordic Countries.

The new anime's original soundtrack, featuring the latest new arrangement of the theme song by franchise veteran Yuji Ohno, will go on sale on November 3.

Sentai Filmworks describes the story of the new anime:

Gentleman thief Lupin III is back and ready for his next caper— unless legendary sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, has anything to say about it! When Holmes' longtime partner, Dr. Watson, is murdered, none other than Lupin tops the suspects list. With Holmes fast closing in, Lupin must prove his innocence and bring a shadowy organization called The Raven to heel if he wants to live to steal another day.

Voice Actor Kiyoshi Kobayashi Retires as Lupin III's Jigen After 52 Years

The official website for the Lupin the 3rd Part 6 television anime series confirmed on Tuesday that long-time veteran voice actor Kiyoshi Kobayashi is retiring from the Daisuke Jigen role. The anime's "Episode 0," titled "Jidai" (Historical Period) features his last appearance as the character. The episode will serve as the anime's first episode on October 6.

Akio Ohtsuka will replace Kobayashi in all the other episodes of the anime.

The site also unveiled a new trailer for the anime on Tuesday.

Kobayashi is the only remaining original first-generation cast member in the Lupin III franchise, and had been voicing Jigen since 1969.

Kobayashi has also voiced the titular Bem in the Yōkai Ningen Bem series, and the calculating statesman Adrian Rubinsky in the 1988 The Legend of the Galactic Heroes OVA series. Some of his other roles include Crystal Bowie in Space Adventure Cobra, Aguille Delaz and the Narrator in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, Avdol in the 1993 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OVA, and Watari in Death Note.
 
Inaspettatamente han chiamato diversi sceneggiatori veterani.

mi sono visto non so quante volte i vecchi episodi in attesa di questa nuova serie l’ultimo film mi aveva deluso un sacco (lato grafico la storia era pure carina) e quando hanno annunciato la serie su Netflix era in hype potente ma pure lì mi sono creato aspettative alte quando invece non c’entrava poco e niente con Lupin
 
La serie tv di Netflix si rifaceva al Lupin originale, quello francese... da cui ha preso spunto anche questo.
Stasera recupero l'episodio! Uscirà tutti i sabato.
 
Visto il primo episodio della sesta serie (più l'episodio 0 su Jigen). Per ora molto interessante, mi piace questa versione di Sherlock Holmes.

ma come mai Lupin avrebbe ucciso Watson?
 
ieri ho finito con gli episodi della sesta stagione e devo dire che l’ho preferita di molto rispetto alle 5 perché torna alla formula della 4 che ho preferito con episodi autoconclusivi che intervallano i due archi narrativi.
Questi due coeur scritti anche da due sceneggiatori differenti sono stati per me veramente belli e intensi con tanti alti ma purtroppo con qualche episodio a se stante di troppo secondo me che non riesce a far del suo meglio. A voi è piaciuta ?

Io ho visto solo la prima metà della sesta e un paio dell'altro arc. In linea di massima mi ha soddisfatto ma alcuni episodi autoconclusivi poco incisivi e rapidi (vabbè che il minutaggio è quello, però...).

La prima metà credo sia la migliore delle due perché introduce Holmes che è un grande personaggio uno dei migliori introdotti della stagione sicuramente mentre la seconda seppur sia incentrata sulle origini di Lupin perde un po’ nel finale
