The official website for the television anime adaptation of author Ryo Mizuno and illustrator Miyuu's Record of Grancrest War (Grancrest Senki) light novel series announced on Friday that Mashiro Ayano (Re:CREATORS, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) will perform the anime's opening theme song "starry." Her sixth single featuring the song will launch on January 17.
The anime will premiere in January 2018 and will air on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, ABC Asahi Broadcasting, TV Aichi, and BS11. Aniplex of America will distribute the anime but it has not yet revealed details.
