hola, a breve mi faccio il pc nuovo e finalmente pensavo di addentrarmi in Star Citizen, forse col pacchetto base

a livello di ottimizzazione come siamo messi? Adesso vale lo sforzo dei 45€ per il pacchetto base? Il flight system quanto è complicato in confronto a quello di elite (non ho più il joystick e non mi va di ricomprarlo)?

Ho un 3600, 1070, 16 GB di RAM e SSD ed è giocabile, a parte nelle città dove ho stuttering e cali di frame sotto i 30. Un SSD e almeno 16 GB di RAM sono essenziali altrimenti stuttera ovunque.

Il sistema di volo è stato riscritto ad agosto con la 3.10 ed è un passo avanti nella direzione giusta: in atmosfera ora la pressione e la densità influiscono sulla nave e si notano le differenze sia in termini di velcoità che di manovrabilità a seconda di quanto è aerodinamica la nave. Nello spazio invece continua a non piacermi, è arcade come dice Gambit, sembra la nave non abbia massa a differenza di Elite dove la senti la differenza tra una small e una medium. Preferisco di gran lunga quello di Elite, soprattutto in FA Off non c'è partita. :asd:

La parte on foot/veicoli ed FPS è divertente in gruppo, anche solo per cazzeggiare con emergent gameplay (come in Elite c'è poca roba da fare sui pianeti), però onestamente io non me la sento di consigliarti di spenderci 45€ allo stato attuale.

TURBULENT CREATES NEW GAME DEVELOPMENT STUDIO IN MONTREAL TO MAKE WORLDS FOR STAR CITIZEN

Montreal, Canada, November 24, 2020 - Turbulent will open a Montreal game studio focused on building star systems for Cloud Imperium Game’s sci-fi Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game of unprecedented scale and uncompromising vision: Star Citizen. The studio will be directed by Benoit Beausejour (CTO and co-founder) and industry veterans Guillaume Voghel (Producer), Pierre-Luc Boulais (Art Director) and Louis Rousseau (Lead Game Designer).

The goal is to build a fully-fledged independent studio, with its own unique Montréal culture. This studio will contribute to the larger, global development pipeline of Star Citzen, which is currently distributed across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

This newly formed team in Turbulent has already added staff and continues to grow as it creates content in lockstep with Star Citizen’s senior development leadership, including Chief Development Officer Erin Roberts and Game Director Todd Papy. The remit of the Turbulent Star Citizen team is to develop new tools to enhance and expand the existing pipeline, create new locations and features and also build entire new star systems for Star Citizen, which will make their way into the Star Citizen universe on an ongoing basis. Over the next three years, Turbulent and CIG have plans to grow the studio to 100 developers.

  • Reputation will be applied to all Mission givers first except Ruto. Later will be introduced to Bounty hunting first and then orgs and guilds. Will be built on in later patches
  • If you blow up the ship first then you can steal using tractor beam its cargo that is injected into space. If you interacted with cargo while they are on the cargo grid... Stream cut <_<
  • Yes you can hide in cloud but not right now, waiting for ambient signature detection to add the surrounding signature to hide yours
  • they have a fix for 3.12 for the refuel/repair and if it didnt work it will be implemented later
  • Only you can pick up refined materials for now
  • Max range for snipping a target is 1000m up to 1500m. you can zero up to 2000m. depends on whats loaded on which moon/planet
  • can a tractor beam flip a land vehicle: no. too weak to flip a ROC. for a ship tractor yes it can
  • they will be adding more dedicated tools for tractor beams and mining later (specialized tools)
  • can refineries start multiple jobs? yes it can do multiple jobs, you can pull one out of all of them as you want
  • no fix in 3.12 for party name plates (lower priority)
  • why did you rename chaff and flair: SC has different signatures then real world, Yogi suggested changing it to the noise field and the decoy. to reduce confusion about expecting it to work as real life chaff and flairs
  • Idris size 10 railgun is functional in 3.12 but it depends on what target it select. It wont shoot a gladius with it
  • The Idris mission is IN 3.12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • tractor beams wont combine forces in 3.12 but next patches

  • why add pointers on ships entry points shouldnt it be off? its for the new players and you can turn it off
  • any other use to the cloud tech? Yes gas mining, danger zone, distortion damage, electricity that knocks out your ship or hit you if you EVA in it. but not for 3.12. Currently they are just clouds but also they are cold so they will effect you as an atmosphere space. Also its where Jump points will be, inside gas clouds
  • would tractor beams combine power? yes but not 3.12. it will have a limit, 1000 ppl cant pull a bangle by tractor beaming it. In more physicallized world boxes will weight differently, a box of gold is much more then a box of paper so even if the box is small you will need a tractor beam for it. you can carry 75kg for a 50x50x50 box. after that you will suffer holding it eventually you wont be able to. 1SCU box full of gas you can lift with one tractor beam but one filled with metal it may need more then one or maybe a forklift.
  • when boxes get heavy, there will be message that its too heavy to lift, will also be an animation for struggling to carry or not be able to.
  • You cant board the Idris no interior in 3.12 (leaving the excitement for SQ42)
  • Every Lagrange point has gas clouds in 3.12 but later things will vary currently (stress testing the system)
  • how frequent will the Idris show up? it will be for space stations, depending on the crime level of the ppl around the space station. If its destroyed another one will show up depending on the crime level. they will keep coming till the crime level is lower so that they are not needed.
  • Is the Idris more capable now then it was in Invictus? lots of tuning added, shields, armors, weapons, AI behaviors priortizing targets. Missiles changes and turrets changing, it will take out missiles fired at it. It will target Torpedoes first then go back to normal targets. Jared fired torpedoes from a Retaliator at it and it took them down
  • if someone throw a Pico at you, you can catch it with a tractor beam, also a grenade. Any physical body would like picking guns thrown at you
  • what happen when you shoot tractor beam at players? they disabled it for 3.12 (the green goblin (flying box) is disabled for 3.12)
  • you can left dead bodies with a tractor beam
  • money making bugs.. will there be a wipe? yes at some point, they discuses it with every patch. They want players to buy different things like ships in couple of months so they dont want to keep wiping, so this is the time to break and test the system while its in alpha. There are long goals that needed to be tested so they dont want to wipe every patch.
  • not decided to wipe yet for 3.12 (they do after wave 2 but not yet) but ... another stream cut
  • a tractor beam will have limited resource (battery) but the beginning was cut..
  • nothing will have if you cross tractor streams ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  • no update yet on the patch, updates will be posted on spectrum
  • This is the Last SCL for 2020, and one more ISC for next week and thats it for 2020

La roadmap 2021 è ancora attesa e la beta non si intravede nemmeno con il binocolo. A giorni sarà rilasciata la 3.12 con la nuova tecnologia delle gas cloud nell'universo di gioco.
 
Ho aggiornato, mi sono collegato, ho richiesto la nave dall'area 18, mi dirigo al deck... E crasha :sowhat:
